Schedule:
On-call/as-needed position. Telephonic interpretation services may be required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year . On-site assignments are generally performed during Blanchfield Army Community Hospital's normal business hours, Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM , excluding Federal holidays. Short-notice and emergency assignments may also occur.
Summary:
The Foreign Language Interpreter will provide professional interpretation services in support of patients, medical personnel, staff, and other authorized individuals at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) and associated clinics at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
The interpreter may provide services by telephone, in person, or through video interpretation , depending on the assignment. Candidates may support common or uncommon foreign languages and must accurately communicate information between English-speaking and limited-English-proficiency individuals.
